Free Fresh Produce Distribution Returns to Whittier on November 4

WHITTIER, California — A free fresh-produce distribution is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the Whittier Public Health Center. The community resource calendar published by CAPC, Inc. lists the distribution as a recurring first-Wednesday event.

Where and when to go

The distribution takes place at 7643 S. Painter Avenue, Whittier, CA 90602, in the parking lot behind the health center. The organizer’s description says distribution begins at 8:30 a.m. and continues until supplies run out. The calendar’s broad event entry also shows general hours, but the event description’s supplies-last wording is the most important planning detail.

This is a walk-up distribution, rather than a drive-through event. The listing does not state how many bags will be available, guarantee produce to late arrivals or describe eligibility requirements. Anyone relying on the distribution should check the organizer’s page before traveling.

A practical resource for nearby neighborhoods

People in Northeast Whittier and adjoining areas who can reach the health center may find the program useful for supplementing household groceries. Visitors should bring a bag or cart if needed and consider that supplies may be exhausted before the end of the day.
